New Art Fair: We are pleased to announce that “ART PHOTO TOKYO -edition zero-” will take place from Nov. 18 (Fri) - 20 (Sun), 2016.
The Fair distinguishes itself from conventional photo fairs in that it features not only contemporary art photography but also photo works by fashion and commercial photographers, showcasing their artistic creativity on equal grounds to make the fair a unique combination of art and design.
“ART PHOTO TOKYO -edition zero-” aims to establish itself as a quintessentially Japanese art event in every sense, keeping intact the world-class quality in all artworks dealt to provide a hub for the Asian market.
Tokyo’s premier photo event, “ART PHOTO TOKYO -edition zero-” gathers over 60 carefully-curated photo artists, commercial and fashion photographers, along with video artists from across the globe.
The Fair boasts an array of workshops and talks designed for art enthusiasts and collectors while also providing programs for kids & families. Expanding the appeal of photography and video imagery, the Fair will also feature live performances by critically-acclaimed musicians and media artists.
A unique office building located on the corner of the Kayaba-cho crossing has been chosen as the venue. Here, the Fair will infuse fresh air into the area that once stood for Japanese economic success.
Innovative culture-led enterprises such as SARUTAHIKO COFFEE, Qusamura (botanical artist collective) and LEXUS, with its not-in-market vehicle, have also joined force, amalgamating diverse contemporary creativity, such as architecture, design, music and food, with photography and video.
We look forward to your participation to feel the cream of Tokyo cultural scene.
